With no job, friends mugging (well aunty tan joined the rank of freedom now =D congrats! haha), I slack my days online... erm ya there's things to settle but they're seldom done till the day before they're needed =X

So aimless surfing on the net landed me on some interesting blogs and forum... those lucky pple who hike through various trails, climbed various mountain, cycle in different countries, kayak, water-raft, etc. etc. Today was reading this guy's blog - he cycled from Thailand back to Singapore in 14 days SOLO. (http://pedaldamnit.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html) ~woot.

'Travel around the world' is one of the common wish that pple will say. Its one of mine as well... But I don't need the luxury. I don't only want to see the glamorous world, the urbanise cities, I want the nature, the adventures as well. I envy those hosts and crews of those TV shows where they travel around the world... 世界那么大！haha.

With the urge to travel, come the urge to be active - cycle, run, swim. These are some of the pre-requisites for me to be able to enjoy the above mentioned. So meanwhile, I work my current badly conditioned body to better state.... haiz bad knee, backaches etc etc. To think that I've just hit the big 2 =X

As I looked through the journey of others, I browsed through the photos of my past few trips, namely ChiangMai (M45), HongKong, and the China trip photos from my uncle... (I've never opened the file from my uncle till today... coz I've idiotically corrupted my own set of photos and could not forgive myself for it. There's real beautiful pictures in it...) It brings back lots of good memories. I just love how a photo capture the moment, the scenery... But a photo can only show so much, somethings you have to experience it, you've to see it to get the 'WOW-ness'

The more I read about the adventures of others, the more I looked through my photos... The more I want to travel...

yup Huang Shan is beautiful but I'll not miss the others as well haha. =P

and I shall go get the hardcopy photos that my cousin developed from my camera before the corruption to scan in... photos taken by oneself is just... a different.
